Switch - Nylon Spandex Fabric

What does the input do?

Rotate the pointer and buckle with buttons at different directions to serve as a rotate switch.

How it works?

The change in conductive path can lead to resistance changes and thus can be used for input detection.

You will need:

• carbon black ink and polyurethane
• nylon spandex fabrics
• conductive silver fabric

Sensor structure & Fabrication steps

• Laser cut out all the needed parts.
• Dip-coat the nylon spandex fabrics.
• Connect metal buttons and silver fabric segments.
