What does the sensor do?

Slide sensing using off-the-shelf zippers.

How it works?

The change in conductive path can lead to resistance changes and thus can be used for input detection.

You will need:

• carbon black ink
• metal zipper
• conductive silver fabric

Sensor structure & Fabrication steps

• Dip-coat the zipper.
• Connect with silver fabric segments.

Application scenarios

Suitable for scenarios where there is already a zipper, and we can augment it to sense approximately where it slides to.
